On our program, which will be held between July 10 – 13, you could take part in an exciting 64 km E-Bike tour in the picturesque Murau valley and a pleasant walking tour in a picturesque environment to the Frauenalpe. Spend an unforgettable active weekend with us cycling and hiking in the picturesque Styrian Alps!

Accommodation occupation the Da Capo Kreischberg (Murau), which is a guesthouse located in a beautiful environment. Chanterelle hunting: Let’s explore together the magical mountain forests of the area, where thanks to the wet soil we can find a wide range of mushrooms! From July to mid-August, the forest is deep with chanterelles aranylik – a real treasure hunt awaits us. During an easy trip, we can collect the delicious ingredients for the morning mushroom egg.
We cycle the 64 km hiking distance through wonderful countryside. Our journey goes together with the route of the Mura Valley light railway and the crashing river, on which rafters test their skills. Fairytale villages frame the varied journey. During the bike ride, we cross the river several times, of course not on water, but on various small bridges. The roll is interspersed with rest areas, where you can have a little extra cappuccino or a mouth-watering apple pie with vanilla sauce to replenish our energy stores. Halfway through the tour, you can choose from cozy restaurants when you reach the main square of Tamsweg. We’re back in the saddle! On the way back, we can see the Murtal Bahn, made up of small red nostalgia cars, again, and we can even compete with it, as we mostly roll downhill to our home. Don’t be alarmed by the distance of the tour, it can be interrupted at any time and can be continued with the light rail!
In the evening, when the sun has already set, the embers are hot and the shared grill dinner awaits us at the accommodation with real Styrian food and drinks.
Our easy and spectacular tour can be completed over an optional distance. From the accommodation (12+5 km) or partly by car (5 km). The winding, wooded hiking trail runs through a picturesque environment, where the hiking trails are crossed by squirrels and you can almost breathe the fresh air.
Our journey leads through pastures and wildflower meadows to the Frauenalpe hilltop adorned with a chapelra (1997 m), from where we can enjoy a magnificent view. Equipped with benches during the tour vantage points ensure that we can relax a little and take wonderful photos. It’s our tour Enjoying the magnificent panorama of the Low Tauern range, we continue to the Groundhog Rock. Finally we descend on a cozy path to the mountain restaurant famous for its crispy roast pork, where lunch is available. We go back to the accommodation together by car.
Optional program based on your needs. You can jump back into the saddle and even on harder terrain – Rosenkrantz 2000 m– cycling or cycling to a cozy little beach, or hiking in the area.
